Beautiful clothes for gorgeous girls
It’s not often that I come across a brand whereby I quite literally want to buy everything on their website, but ilovegorgeous had me at hello. Ever since my one-year-old received one of their jumpsuits and a dress as a gift, this label has been on my radar. Classic yet contemporary, girly but not cutesy, the clothes have a delicate whimsy about their design while the quality is robust (try as she might, my daughter failed to destroy the jumpsuit). Most importantly, for something so beautifully made, it’s all machine washable. And then there’s the beautiful free gift-wrapping…
The brand was started in 2006 by friends Lucy Enfield and Sophie Worthington. Having had girls of their own, they wanted to design a girlswear collection for 0-13-year-olds that was fun and feminine; classic with a twist. They now have two London stores and sell all over the world, and in 2014 they won the Baby&Me Best Independent Store Style Award. Phew!
Their online presence is equally as enchanting as their clothes are exquisite, from their creative, aspirational blog -filled with cute recipes (marshmallow fairy wands, anyone?) and plenty of sparkle – to their kill-an-entire-afternoon Pinterest boards, this brand offers plenty of inspiration and escapism. Just what we like here at Fussy Bird.
