Introducing the hottest new girlswear label 

 

We are so super excited to give you a sneak peek at Outside the Lines – a new girlswear label for ages 3-10 which launches this autumn. In their debut collection of 30 pieces, co-founders Phillippa Cloete and Kate Please have achieved the near impossible, an affordable girlswear line which is fun, feminine and comfortable yet doesn’t compromise on quality. They recognise parental desire for a capsule wardrobe which can be dressed up or down and isn’t too precious, meaning their leading ladies can wear it every day.
No surprise that we fell in love with the new label when we first spied it at Bubble London back in February. And we weren’t the only ones as they have already scooped an armful of awards including Junior Magazine’s Design Award for Best Emerging Brand 2016 and the Smallish Design Award for Best Newcomer 2016.
With soft muted tones, hidden details and an edge of sophistication the collection is curated to cater for different personalities whether they’re a more outdoorsy-tree-climbing type of girl or a stay-indoors with a good book type. Their first edit of soft colour palette, pops of colour and delicate prints includes knitwear, washed jeans, dresses, outerwear and party skirts. Key pieces include a quirky Breton top with soft metallic Peter Pan collar (we want!), twisted tutu with embellished waistband (perfect Christmas party skirt) and a fitted cardigan with fringing detail (for those autumnal walks).
